The Japanese have done it again. This time, researchers at lingerie company Ravijour, have developed a bra that will only unhook if the woman is in love, no matter how much her pursuer tries to open it.
The bra is called the "True Love Tester" and though it sure looks pretty, the science behind it seems a bit sketchy. The bra measure your heart rate and sends it to your smartphone for analysis: If the app determines that you are in love, based on your heart rate, then the bra will automatically unlatch. It appears these researchers have not heard of "lust."
We can already imagine the problems that may arise from wearing the "True Love Tester." What happens if a woman is flirting with an attractive colleague during a work meeting? What if a woman is not into her mate anymore and the bra won't open? Will this be the new backdoor tool to a breakup?
We may never find out the answers to this question: The "True Love Tester" is not for sale right now, but if you spend over 5,000 yen on Ravijour intimates, you can enter for a chance to test out the bra, reports Kotaku.
