Tough Mudder, a 10-12 mile obstacle course, is one of the most intense competitions out there. It tests your body, your mind and forces competitors to work as a team. Well soon, kids ages 7 to 12 will be able to try the competition for themselves.
Yesterday, Tough Mudder announced that it is parterning with international soft drinks company Britvic PLC to create obstacle courses for kids, called Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder. The goal is to give kids an adventure to conquer, while teaching them how to work as a team.
Of course the kids will not be forced to tackle a 12 mile course. This modified course will be one-mile long and feature these four obstacles, designed just for kids:
Tunnel of Terror: Dark tunnels kids must climb through, with the help of their teammates.
Gooey Shoes: Competitors will have to walk across a slippery surface without sinking or slipping.
Secret Angent Sqeeze: Kids will make their way through a laser maze.
Mount Mud: For the grand finale, kids will fight their way through a big mountain of mud, sliding their way to the finish line.
The plans for the Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder obstacle courses are currently underway and events will take place throughout the U.S. and the U.K.
