Vegetarians and carnivores can dine in peace with new app YoBelly

xx The YoBelly app doesn’t just find the best restaurant matches for you and your date. It also suggest more”adventurous palate-pleasing dishes.”

Maybe you aren’t a carnivore or herbivore 100 percent of time — when you get hungry, your belly wants what it wants. But what kind of food, from where, and should it listen to any other bellies rumbling when it comes to choosing the restaurant? A new app called YoBelly helps you solve that dilemma.

By asking a series of questions about your food habits and taste, such as “What describes your eating habits best?” and “Your sensory spotlight shines on which of these textures?” it finds your personal “food zodiac” alter-ego, such as lion, dragon or fox, plus the nearest recommendable restaurants and dishes.

“Whether you have a restrictive diet that omits dairy or gluten, or whether you are simply a meat-and-potatoes type of person, I think we can all agree: Eating is personal,” says Herman Spencer, founder of YoBelly.

But sometimes your belly isn’t the center of the world, and it will have to share the spotlight with other belly preferences. YoBelly can still be of assistance. In matchmaking mode, it can include more than one recommendation in the search for restaurants through the “Eatvent” setting. Now vegetarians and carnivores can dine in peace.

Try it out yourself by downloading the free YoBelly app for Android and iPhone, or find outmore atwww.yobellyapp.com.
