What is the best beach in the US?

Much of the country may still be partially frozen, but the warm weather will be here before you know it, which is why everyone should start researching which beaches to go to this summer.

Tripadvisor recently released its rankings of the best beaches both nationally and internationally, and we can already feel the sand between our toes.

The number one beach in the country is Clearwater Beach in Clearwater, Florida.

“Located adjacent to the Beach Walk Promenade and Pier 60 with oodles of shopping and dining, the area is not lacking for entertainment.” The Orlando Sentinel explained. “Many reviews pointed out how it had something for all ages of beachgoer as well as how you can walk just a little bit to get away to find some solitude.”

Clearwater was also one of the highest ranked in the world, taking the number 20 spot on the list of best international beaches.

What was number one in the world?

Caribbean Grace Bay in beautiful Turks and Caicos, took the top spot.

What if like most of us, you can’t (or choose not to) make it out to Florida to experience the number one beach in the U.S.?

Well, you’re in luck East Coasters, because Race Point Beach in Provincetown, located on the top of Cape Cod, snatched 19th place on the list.
