Lady Gaga may have owned the Video Music Awards on Sunday night, but not everyone appreciated the fashionista’s “meat dress” getup.
The folks at PETA — who were also not amused by the somehow grosser meat bikini she’s currently wearing on the cover of Vogue Japan — addressed the Lady on their blog: “Lady Gaga has been having a hard time keeping her act ‘over the top.’ … Someone should whisper in her ear that there are more people who are upset by butchery than who are impressed by it.”
Right. This is the woman who wore a gown made of Hello Kitty dolls — presumably only because she couldn’t find any real kittens to match her eye shadow that day. Good luck, PETA.

Were you expecting Taylor Swift to join Kanye West on stage for a duet after her sappy song about him? Seems the execs at MTV were, too. According to E! Online, “Tay refused to go on with Kanye, and she had people from MTV, Camp Kanye and her own folks working on overdrive throughout the duration of the show to see if she’d change her mind.”
Give the girl a break. Can you imagine how great the open bar must be at these things?
