Keeping track of the hottest restaurants is challenging enough; imagine being a 20-something actually in the industry. Zagat - widely trusted for their reviews - took it upon itself to comb the United States for the young people redefining the food and drink industry right now.
Making the New York City list is everyone from a 28-year-old female butcher who works at Brooklyn's The Meat Hook to a 19-year-old retail manager at Dominique Ansel Bakery, who manages that crazy cronut line. These are the people behind the buzz of foodies across the city.
The people making the lists in other cities are just as diverse. Austin boasts a goat farmer/brewer and Boston homes a tricycle-riding barista. Check out the list here.
