Lions looking to bounce back

B.C. vs Hamilton

7:30 p.m., TSN/TEAM 1040
After a tough loss last week, the Lions will be looking to get into the win column in this young CFL season Friday against Hamilton. A strong team performance would go a long way toward building momentum for the foreseeable future.

More Production: The Lions offence needs to be better, especially their go-to players. Last week against Saskatchewan QB Buck Pierce threw for just one touchdown with two interceptions and was a dismal 17of 33. Receivers Geroy Simon and Paris Jackson combined for just 57 yards and no TDs.

Injured Back: Running back Tyler Ebell draws into the lineup tonight as he replaces the injured Ian Smart who left last week’s game midway through the third quarter with a groin injury. He is expected to be back as early as next week.

Porter’s Team: The Ti-Cats offensive line struggled last week against the Argonauts allowing QB Quinton Porter to be sacked six times. Porter, who many experts believe has the potential to be a top quarterback in the league was by far their best player in Week 1, rushing for 62 yards and throwing for 229.
