The challenges of being a working mother get talked about a lot — and for good reason — but being a working dad is a tough job, too. To tackle the big questions many dads have, such as what is expected of dads in 2015, how to juggle parenting responsibilities with bringing home the bacon, and what to do if your wife or partner has a different parenting style than you, 92Y is holding a five-hour conference on Sunday, January 25.

Michael Thompson, the author of The New York Times best-selling book “Raising Cain: The Emotional Lives of Boys” and Paul Raeburn, who wrote “Do Fathers Matter? What Science Is Telling Us About The Parent We’ve Overlooked” will serve as two of the experts leading the discussion. Other speakers include Michael Kimmel, author of “Guyland: The Perilous Would Where Boys Become Men,” Warby Parker co-founder and working dad Neil Blumenthal, Dads Group co-founder and stay-at-home dad Matt Schneider.

The goal of the conference is to learn helpful ways to balance work and home, get answers to challenging parenting questions and meet other fathers in similar situations. Tickets are $99 and can be purchased here. If you can’t make it to the event, you can watch the livestream at www.92y.org/livecast. Score a 15 percent discount by using the code “Parent” when buying tickets online.
