Hundreds of Edmontonians were treated to a free concert yesterday by a few leading members of Edmonton’s indie rock scene.
That’s Edmonton For You! rocked Louise McKinney Riverfront Park yesterday as a part of the kickoff of 2009 ICLEI World Conference.
“I think it is a chance to celebrate the incredible talent we have in the city and the rare chance to see them all on one stage and working collaboratively,” said artist director Trevor Anderson.
The event was designed to open the discussion to the public for sustainability through the arts, a cultural component to partner the ICLEI.
