During Bronx Week, New Yorkers can commemorate the borough's 100th anniversary with dozens of events, from a hip-hop block party to tours of a cemetery and the old Yankee Stadium.

1.Bronx Food and Farm Tour


Taqwa Community Farm The Taqwa Community Farm is in the Bronx.

See some of the borough's oldest community gardens, including the Taqwa Community Farm, which has chickens, beekeeping and food production. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10. Meet at Metro North 153rd St./Yankee Stadium Station. 718-817-8026 or email bronxfoodsummit@gmail.com. $30.

2. Bronx Hip Hop Block Party


Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and other local elected officials will play basketball during the Bronx Hip Hop Block Party on Saturday, May 10, with Hot 91 and Power 105.1 squaring-off in another matchup. A DJ will also mix and food is provided. 12 to 6 p.m., Saturday, May 10. Gauchos Gym, 475 Gerard Ave. Free.

3.Family Art Project: Sachets and Floral Fantasy for Mom


Those hoping to celebrate Mother's Day can create paper flowers, sachets filled with lavender and other gifts at the Wave Hill cultural center.10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11.West 249th Street and Independence Avenue. 718-549-3200.Admission is $8 for adults, $2 for children.

4. Green Roof Tour


Tour the borough's green roofs, starting with the Bronx County Building. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, May 12. 851 Grand Concourse, Room 123. RSVP to mnixon@boedc.org. Free.

5. "Highlights in Bronx History"


Get the "Highlights in Bronx History" during a public lecture at the Bronx Library Center. 6 p.m., Monday, May 12. 310 East Kingsbridge Road. 718-579-4257. Free.

6.Building The Bronx Walking Tour

Visit the graves of New York icons, from Robert Moses to Fiorella LaGuardia, at the Woodlawn Cemetery. 4 to 6 p.m.,Friday, May 16.Meet at the Jerome Avenue gates, Jerome and Bainbridge Avenues. Free.

7.Old Yankee Stadium Walking Tour


Baseball fans can visit "iconic elements" of the old Yankee Stadium on a free tour with sports sociologist Dr. Cary Goodman. 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 17. Meet at the "Jeter Meter," 161st Street and River Avenue. Free.

8.Montefiore 2014 Teddy Bear Hospital


Children can bring their favorite stuffed animal or doll to for a medical exam and full workup by Montefiore doctors and nurses, including x-rays. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 17. Montefiore Wakefield Division Emergency Department, 600 E. 233rd St. 800-MD-MONTE. Free.

9.Family Art Project: Conversations with Puppet Squirrels

10.Bronx Walk of Fame – 2014 Induction Ceremony

Near the end of the weeklong celebration, the Bronx Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony will honor this year's inductees, including New York Jets guard lineman William Colon III and hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz. 11 a.m., Sunday, May 18. Steps of the Bronx County Building,Grand Concourse at East 161st Street. Free.
