Former New England Patriot star Aaron Hernandez will yet again be in court next week for his arraignment on a murder indictment.
Hernandez will appear in Fall River Superior Court on Sept. 6 after a grand jury indicted him last week, according to the Bristol district attorney’s office.
Hernandez, 23, was charged in June with the murder of Odin Lloyd, a semi-pro football player who was found shot to death in an industrial area near Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough. Lloyd was also dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancee.
A grand jury indicted Hernandez last weekon charges of murder, carrying an illegal firearm, illegal possession of a rifle, illegal possession of a large capacity feeding device and two counts of possession of ammunition without an identification card. He had previously been charged in a criminal complaint and was arrested in June.
He pleaded not guilty when he was first charged. The Patriots released Hernandez after his arrest.
