Abigail Hernandez: Mother says missing N.H. teen wasn't pregnant
The mother of Abigail Hernandez, the New Hampshire teen that suddenly came home after 9 months, said in an interview that her daughter wasn't pregnant.
New Hampshire teen Abigail Hernandez, who suddenly reappeared home after being missing for about nine months, was not pregnant, her mother said in an interview.
Zenya Hernandez said her daughter was not pregnant and did not runaway, she said in an interview that aired Monday morning on TODAY.
"The majority of people somehow believe that she was pregnant," Zenya Hernandez said. "She was not. She did not run away. I firmly believe that. As for her knowing the individual, I firmly believe that she did not know the individual."
Abigail Hernandez, now 15, was the subject of a search by local, state and federal authorities after she went missing in October. She suddenly returned home earlier this month and authorities said they are investigating the circumstances of her disappearance and return.
Last week authorities released pictures of the clothes the teen was wearing when she returned home with the hope that someone spotted her before that. They also released a sketch of the man who drove her away on the day she went missing.
