Airport pat downs questioned

As airports begin to draw holiday crowds of Thanksgiving travelers, complaints have arisen over “invasive” pat downs by Transportation Security Administration agents when fliers won’t submit to body scanners. President Barack Obama promised to explore other options, citing the complaints, but TSA officials said Sunday the pat downs will remain in effect for those who refuse to be scanned. City Councilman David Greenfield proposed a bill to ban the scanners from city airports.
