A man arrested last Tuesday for allegedly masturbating in front of a woman on an MBTA Green Line platform at Hynes Station was again arrested for a similar incident that police say happened in 2013.
Salah Koutaiby, 49, of East Boston, now faces a second charge of open and gross lewdness after a woman recognized him to be the culprit who allegedly exposed himself and masturbated while staring at her on March 25.
“Apparently this was not (Koutaiby’s) first time sexually harassing women and committing lewd acts in public,” transit police said in a statement.
The 2013 incident allegedly happened on the same platform as last week’s incident, according to police.
