A 57-year-old Bristol man was killed when an Amtrak train hit him in Bristol Borough on Wednesday night.
The fatal train accident occurred about 6:30 p.m. on tracks near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Garden Street, according to the Bucks County Courier Times.
The man was not immediately identified by authorities, who were awaiting notification of his family.
The man's death was the second on train tracks in Bristol in less than three weeks. A 21-year-old man died after a SEPTA train struck him in what was ruled an accident.
