UNIONDALE – A 31-year-old Uniondale man faces enhanced drunk driving charges after being stopped with a 2-year-old in his car Sunday afternoon. Newsday reported that Jose A. Escobar was arraigned yesterday for aggravated driving while intoxicated, which is a felony offense under Leandra’s Law, and endangering the welfare of a child.
