Argument led to murder: Police

The murder of a man walking with his girlfriend to his parked car early yesterday outside the Frankford Transportation Center occurred moments after the victim got into an argument with another man, police said.

FRANKFORD – The murder of a man walking with his girlfriend to his parked car early yesterday outside the Frankford Transportation Center occurred moments after the victim got into an argument with another man, police said.

Darryl Smith, 30, of North Marshall Street, died from several bullet wounds to the head, chest and abdomen about 40 minutes after the shooting on Pratt Street, police said. The woman also suffered a bullet wound to her shoulder.
