The Philadelphia Police Department Special Victims Unit is currently searching for a Northeast Philly man suspected of attempting to rape his ex-wife at gunpoint.
Albert DiPrimeo, 57, reportedly attempted to rape the victim inside his home on the 7900 block of Marsden Street in Holmesburg on Monday morning.
The victim was reportedly staying over at DiPrimeo's house, but things apparently turned ugly when he allegedly held a gun against her head and reportedly ordered her to have sex with him before sexually assaulting her.
The victim was able to escape to a neighbor's house and call 911.
SWAT and police responded to DiPrimeo's house, believing he was still inside, but DiPrimeo had fled the home.
DiPrimeo, who sports several tattoos in his profile pictures on Facebook, is considered armed and dangerous.
Police described him as being 5'8", 230 pounds with black hair and believed to be driving a 2001 gray Honda Accord, tag number JNH-4642. Anyone who sees DiPrimeo is being asked to call 911.
According to his Facebook profile, DiPrimeo studied at Harvard University and works at "trust found."
