An unidentified man dashed with hundreds of dollar from a Brooklyn dollar store after flashing a gun at a cashier.

 

 

Police said that the suspect walked into the Family Dollar store at 2184 Clarendon Road in the Flatbush section at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

 

The suspect pulled what police described as a gray or black firearm from a blue New york Rangers drawstring bag and showed it to the cashier.

Demanding money from the register, the worker handed over approximately $300 in cash and was unharmed in the process.

Police described the suspect as a black male, approximately 35 years old. He is thought to be 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weigh approximately 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue snorkel ski hoodie and black sunglasses.

Police are asking anyone with information on either the robbery or the suspect to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or to submit tips online.
