Chelsea Police are asking for the public’s help after a 2-year-old girl was bit and attacked by a pit bull.
The girl was in front of her home on Grove Street yesterday with her mother when police said the unprovoked attack occurred. The girl was taken to the hospital and is recovering.
Police said today that they believe two men who fled the area during the attack may live in the area and officers need help identifying them.
They are both described as Hispanic teens between 15 and 18-years-old.
The dog was without any identifying information and is currently being quarantined.
Anyone with information can call 617-466-4880.
