Autopsy results in for murdered Leiby Kletzky

The autopsy results are in for Leiby Kletzky, the 8-year-old Brooklyn
boy who police say was abducted and murdered by a stranger last week.

The boy died from a combination of a drug overdose and asphyxiation, according to the New York City medical examiner. He was first given a lethal cocktail of drugs and then smothered him to death with a towel, found the examiner.

Kletzky had traces of a muscle relaxer and an anti-pyschotic drug, as well as Vicodin and Tylenol in his system, officials found.

Borough Park resident Levi Aron, 35, has been arrested and charged with the death. He told police he killed the boy and then dismembered his body.

When police searched Aron’s apartment last week, they found Kletzky’s remains, including severed feet, in his refrigerator. The rest of the boy’s remains were found in a Dumpster in Park Slope a few miles away
