The Mayor of Bethlehem, Pa. was ejected from his son's wrestling tournament Saturday night after disputing a referee's call, according to The Express-Times of Easton, Pa.

The referee asked the mayor, John Callahan, to leave the District 11 Class AAA wrestling tournament after Callahan became irate with what he said was a bad "stalling call" against another Freedom wrestler during the 22-pound championship bout. His son was not involved in the match.

As he exited the school Callahan called out "rabbit ears" and wiggled his fingers on the side of his head. The expression implies an official is influenced or distracted by coaches or fans instead of focusing on the match, according to the newspaper.

Callahan's son, also John, finished fourth in the 195-pound bracket.
