Bicyclist struck in South End

BOSTON. A 46-year-old man suffered potentially life-threatening
injuries after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle in the
South End yesterday afternoon.

The man was hit near Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard about 4:30 p.m., police said.

He was taken to Boston Medical Center. The driver of the car stopped, police said.
