Don’t expect to jump on a blue bike from the CitiBike program just yet.
The bike share expected to arrive on city streets this month has been pushed back, officials said today.
The Department of Transportation confirmed that the roll out will not be in July.
CitiBike tweeted that New Yorkers should look for the bike share in August, Streetsblog noted.
“We’re working on the launch plan and will update the public as soon as we finalize all the details,” DOT spokesman Seth Solomonow said in a statement to Metro.
