A body found on a ramp near Interstate 95 may have been hit by a car that fled the area, state police said.
State police were called to the Winn Street I-95 ramp in Burlington at about 9:10 p.m. Saturday for a report of a person laying in the roadway. When troopers arrived, they found the person had been killed, according to state police. Authorities did not identify the person or release any information about the gender or age.
The initial investigation reveals, according to state police, that the person was hit by a car.
