The sister of the Tsarnaev brothers, the suspects in the Boston marathon bombings, is under police protection in West New York, New Jersey, CBS reported.
The security detail comes at the behest of West New York mayor Felix Roque.
Roque said he visted the sister, Alina Tsarnaev, right after her sole surviving brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, was captured by police on Friday night.
Her other brother, 26-year-old Tamerlan, was killed after a shoot-out with police the night before.
"It was so depressing, so sad," Roque told CBS. "They were sobbing. I mean, they were broken-hearted."
