A throng of hungry Bostonians lined up for free Boloco burritos on Wednesday at the chain's Copley Square location, but the freebie fun didn't end there.

The local chain will dish out free burritos in Massachusetts and Rhode Island throughout September. The next Boston giveaway will be Sept. 9 at Boloco's Atlantic Wharf and Cleveland Circle locations.

A statement posted on the restaurant's website read: "Like all Free Burrito Days of yore, minis and smalls will be completely free, originals will cost $1, and big bowls will cost $2. App/online ordering won’t be offered for each restaurant on its Free Burrito Day… you gotta come see us for your free burrito."
