A Jamaica Plain man offered a woman cash to stop yelling at him after he allegedly grabbed her buttocks.
MBTA transit police arrested Gary Maggiacomo, 45, and charged him with idecent assault and battery after he allegedly grabbed a woman’s behind while she was waiting for the Route 16 bus with her cousin.
According to police reports, officers responded to the T stop where the victim described Maggiacomo and said he offered her money after she began yelling at him for touching her.
Maggiacomo fled the area, but was later identified by the victim as he passed by her and police while she was filing a report.
According to reports, Maggiacomo allegedly turned his shirt inside out to try and mask his appearance.
When police approached the suspect he said “the bus was crowded” before they even questioned him for the assault incident, police said.
