Boston man survives being dragged 30-feet under MBTA subway

A 25-year-old man is alive after being pulled out from under an MBTA Orange Line train that dragged him roughly 30-feet Sunday night.

A 25-year-old man is alive after being pulled out from under an MBTAOrange Line train that dragged him roughly 30-feet Sunday night.

The man, a Jamaica Plain resident, was dragged and became stuck under the train at Back Bay Station around 9:15 p.m..

The Boston Fire Department said the man was between the rails, and it was not clear how he ended up on the tracks.

He was taken to the hospital with what were described as minor arm and leg injuries, and he was also covered in grease.

The incident caused delays on the Orange Line sunday night, though the line was running normally for the Monday morning commute.
