Boston Marathon: Finishing times of celebrity runners

Thousands of people compete in the Boston Marathon each year and mixed in with the crowd of runners are some well known faces.

Among this year’s famous runners is two-time Olympic soccer gold medalist and Needham resident Kristine Lilly. She finished with a time of 4 hours 27 minutes 45 seconds.

Season one “Bachelorette” winner Ryan Sutter crossed the finish line with an impressive time of 3 hours 36 minutes 20 seconds.

Last, but not least, former New England Patriot and Super Bowl champion Tedy Bruschi was giving it his all at last check about 3:15 p.m. He was running a pace that ranged from about 11 minutes per mile at the halfway point to 14 minutes per mile as he got closer to the finish line. He crossed the halfway mark at 2 hours 31 minutes 25 seconds.
