Boston police want ‘best behavior’ out of Aerosmith concertgoers today in Boston

The Boston Police Department wants Aerosmith concertgoers to act more like Josh Groban concertgoers.

Police issued a warning yesterday, ahead of today’s free, outdoor concert on Commonwealth Avenue in Allston. In the statement, police asked concertgoers to “be on your best behavior.”

“In a city as in rich in tradition and history as ours, it’s always nice to honor and celebrate our own. We’re encouraging and expecting good behavior by all those who attend the free concert and we’re certainly hoping people behave in such a way as to make our city and Aerosmith proud,” said Dan Linskey, the department’s superintendent in chief.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the concert, which is scheduled to start sometime around noon.
