MBTA Transit Police post video of vandals: 'This is all our money being wasted'

Transit Police released a video today of two youths tipping over a trash barrel in the MBTA in the hope of tracking them down.

In the hope of tracking down two vandals, Transit Police released a video Monday of two young men destroying more than $1,400 worth of MBTA property.

“This is all our money being wasted," Transit Police wrote on their blog, along with surveillance footage that shows the young men, who are still at large, jumping around rambunctiously at the Broadway T Station before one of them kicks a customer service booth, causing its window to break.

The suspects then hop the turnstiles and, after putting in some effort, tip over the silver barrel.

Transit police said the incident happened around midnight on Sept. 27. If caught, the men will face charges of malicious destruction of property over $250, police said.
