Bristol Borough Council is considering an ordinance that would prohibit politicians from holding rallies at veterans memorials.
The move comes less than a month after council candidate Eric Sokalski announced his campaign at the Bristol Borough Veterans Monument, the Bucks County Courier Times reports.

"It's a place for reflection, not protest," council President Ralph DiGuiseppe, who is running against Sokalski for the South Ward Council seat, told the paper.
Sokalski reportedly apologized for holding a rally to announce his candidacy at the monument when the issue was brought up at a council meeting this month.
