Bronx toddler dies after falling out of apartment window: NYPD
Family members called for help at their seventh-floor apartment in the Grand Concourse section of the Bronx after the baby boy fell out the window.
A Bronx family is grieving after a toddler fell from their apartment window early Sunday morning.
Police said Nayvem Santos, 2, was found unconscious and unresponsive at around 4:21 a.m. on top of a second-floor landing of the apartment building on Gerard Avenue.
Family members called for help from their seventh-floor apartment in the Grand Concourse section of the Bronx after the baby boy fell out the window.
Paramedics rushed Nayvem to Lincoln Medical Center, where doctors soon pronounced the toddler dead.
Authorities said the investigation was ongoing, confirming that Nayvem fell five stories.
While family members were being interviewed, there was no indication of criminality as of Sunday evening.
