Brooklyn bike lane draws foes

BROOKLYN – Protestors for and against a two-lane bike path along Prospect Park West in Park Slope faced off Thursday morning. Opponents called it ugly and unnecessary considering the bike paths in the Prospect Park. They argue it has clogged traffic and removed parking spots.
Borough President Marty Markowitz, who did not attend the rally, called it “a dangerous eyesore.”
