Thousands of bronze items have been burgled from a Bronx cemetery.

About $160,000 worth of bronze from 65 mausoleums, as well as graves, were stolen from St. Raymond’s Cemetery, according to the New York Post.

The stolen items were bronze pieces like door handles and name plates, which could be sold as valuable scrap metal.

This is not the first time robbers have struck a local cemetery.

In 2011, bronze vases were stolen from cemeteries in Long Island.

About 150 were taken from Pinelawn Cemetery, NBC reported, and others were taken from St. Charles Cemetery.

Last summer, officials said that 75 flags had disappeared from Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson, N.Y., but the culprits turned out to be woodchucks.
