A SEPTA bus driver was allegedly assaulted around 1 a.m. this morning in North Philly, reports say.
A Route 54 bus driver was reportedly the victim of an assault near 22nd Street and Lehigh Avenue, ABC reported.
However, no details were available about the exact nature of the assault, and the driver reportedly declined medical treatment.
SEPTA police were called to respond to the bus, which had several passengers onboard at the time, around 1 a.m. on Sunday.
Police are searching for a white Mercedes Benz with Pennsylvania tags and its driver, who fled the scene of the incident.
No arrests have been reported.
