Thanks to two longtime Bushwick residents, a special Restaurant Week for the overlooked neighborhood kicked off Monday.
When Bob Murray and Nick Gilbert noticed that Bushwick had been excluded from programming by Dine In Brooklyn, they joined forces to put together a Bushwick-specific dining extravaganza.
More than 30 restaurants are signed on, the organizers say.
