Cambridge man faces slay charge

CAMBRIDGE. A 28-year-old Cambridge man will be arraigned this morning for allegedly killing a Weymouth resident this weekend.

Christopher Toppi killed Brian Fahy, 28, about 3 a.m. Saturday, authorities said. The Middlesex district attorney’s office would not say how Fahy died, but an autopsy is scheduled.

Police found Fahy at 382 Salem St. in Medford. The death was not random and appeared to be the result of a confrontation, authorities said.
