Cambridge police are urging women to exercise caution when walking alone, especially at night, after a woman was sexually assaulted and another was flashed by possibly the same man last night.
The first incident occurred just after 7 p.m.
Police said a woman walking near Highland and Marie avenues was approached by a man who then groped her.
Shortly after that incident, police received a report that a man exposed himself to a woman on Maple Avenue, a block away from the first incident.
Police searched the area without success.
In both incidents the women described the suspect as a white man between 25 and 30 years old with brown hair and wearing a dark-colored coat.
