Police responded to a 911 call at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday about a woman shot outside 183-74 Camden Ave. in St. Albans, Queens.

Cops said the shooter was an NYPD officer who had been censured by the department.

The victim, an as-yet unnamed 46-year-old woman, was found shot multiple times, cops said.

A 33-year-old male, allegedly the censured police officer, was found with a gunshot wound to his head inside 108-60 Camden Ave. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators recovered a firearm at the scene. It is believed that the shooter is a police officer who shot his wife then himself, according to a law enforcement source.
