Melisa Jackson, 25, has earned $39,000 annually for the past two years since the death of Eutisha Rennix, according to the New York Post.

Witnesses say that Jackson, along with fellow FDNY EMT Jason Green stood by and did nothing as Rennix had an asthma attack in a downtown Brooklyn Au Bon Pain. Rennix, who was pregnant at the time, died.

FDNY officials told the paper that she was on restricted duty until the criminal case against her was closed.
