Two children, both under the age of 6, were fatally stabbed in an Upper West Side apartment on Thursday, police said.

Police identified the victims as 6-year-old Lucia Krim and 1-year-old Leo Krim, reportedly the children of Kevin Krim, CNBC’s general manager of digital content.

The mother of the children found the bodies when she returned to La Rochelle, a luxury apartment building at 57 West 75th Street, along with another young child, police said. According to reports, a 911 call was placed around 5:30 p.m. The two children were pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
