The Green Line Extension will terminate at College Avenue Station in Medford — delaying plans to extend the line to Mystic Valley Parkway/Route 16. Ellin Reisner of Somerville Transportation Equity Partnership called 16 “the best place to terminate the line.”
Kate Fichter, MassDOT manager of long-range planning, said the plan will be revisited this fall.
“We’ve been saying for many months Route 16 is not part of the project at this point,” she said. “There’s also some challenges associated with it.”
