Commuter train to Chesney concert canceled Sunday

A train that was scheduled to ship Kenny Chesney fans to Gillette Stadium Sunday was canceled because of the anticipated storm.

Refunds will be given to country music fans that were planning to take a Commuter train from South Station to see Kenny Chesney at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.

The trains have been canceled because the show has moved to Friday, instead.

There wil be no trains taking trips to the show Friday, however, so those who wnat to rock will have to do so by getting there without the help of the MBTA.

Chesney said in a statement that the safety of his fans is a priority as he plans to rock out with his cowboy hat and boots at the Massachusetts venue.

"I want the last weekend of the 'Goin' Coastal' Tour to be a great experience for everybody. But I also want it to be the safest experience for everyone," said Chesney.
