Company sends thousands of Butterfinger bars to mock Patriots Super Bowl loss

It’s bad enough that today is the New York Giants’ victory parade celebrating their Super Bowl win against the Patriots, but to send thousands of Butterfinger bars to mock one player’s botched catch in Sunday’s game, well, that just burns.

Pawngo.com, a full-service online pawn shop, dropped 900 Butterfinger candy bars in Copley Square with a note attached that said “ThankYou Wes Welker.”

The note was meant to mock the Patriots player for not catching a pass thrown by Quarterback Tom Brady on Sunday in the final moments of the big game.

A representative from the online shop said the gag was “all in good fun.”

Pawngo is co-headquartered in Denver.
