Cop doesn’t show up in abuse case

A Boston police officer charged with abusing his wife was a no show at his arraignment yesterday.  

A Boston police officer charged with abusing his wife was a no show at his arraignment yesterday.

Dennis Morson, 36, of Roxbury, checked himself into a treatment facility, authorities said.

A judge ordered that he stay away from the victim, surrender his firearms, that he remain sober and report to court within a day of checking out of the facility.

Morson was ordered back to court on March 31. The department has placed him on administrative leave.
