Cops looking for man who stole from disabled MBTA rider

MBTA Transit Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who allegedly stole from a disabled rider.

Transit Police released surveillance images of the suspect on Tuesday.

Police said the man allegedly stole $20 from the wallet of a wheelchair-bound rider at the Downtown Crossing station on Oct. 17 about 2 p.m.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man with black and grey hair, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds. He was wearing a red T-shirt, a black sweatshirt, jeans and white sneakers.
