Cops seek men who beat-up, robbed 60-year-old in Brighton Beach subway station

Police are looking for two men who beat-up and robbed a 60-year-old man at a Brighton Beach subway station Wednesday afternoon.

Police are looking for two men who beat-up and robbed a 60-year-old man at a Brooklyn subway station Wednesday afternoon.

The victim was walking up the stairs to train platform at the Ocean Parkway station in Brighton Beach around 1 p.m. when he passed two black men sitting on the steps.

The men grabbed the victim's legs from behind as he climbed passed them. The victim was thrown to the steps and hit his head on the stairs.

Police said the suspects then kicked and punched the victim about his body before taking off with his cell phone, going west down West Brighton Avenue.

The victim was taken to Coney Island Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Police said the first suspect is between 20 and 25-years-old with a goatee and Afro. He was last seen wearing a camouflage tank top and gray jeans, police said.

The second suspect is between 18 and 20-years-old with black hair. He was last seen in a True Religion t-shirt with an American flag logo and gray jeans.

Cops ask anyone with information about the attack to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
