Police are searching for a man who knocked down and robbed an elderly man in Manhattan earlier this week.[videoembed id=167970]
The robber followed the victim into a residential location near West 18th Street at approximately 11:25 p.m. on Monday when he pushed the man down and removed his property, causing the victim to injure his hip, police said.
The thief swiped the 92-year-old victim’s bible and glasses, The Daily News reports.
A $22,000 reward is being offered leading to the arrest of the suspect, with $10,000 being offered each from the Mayor’s office and the NYPD and $2,000 being offered from Crime Stoppers.
The suspect is described as being in his 30s.
